Coffee and Baby J

Coffee is a big fan of Baby J. He will sit down there all day while Baby J sleeps. Whenever he hears the cries of Baby coming out of the room he will rush in to take a look. He's much more gentle with Baby J than other kids or even Cookie~ Such a lovely dog~ 

As for Cookie... well... she loves Baby J but she's always in a world of her own~ we guess she loves the fact that she's still being treated like a princess~

Rewards at the end of the day for a good watchdog job done - A pack of Cesar Chicken pate for each dog! Cookie gets it for barking whenever someone comes in thru the main door. 

Attack of the maniac!

It's another Sunday and another trip to the nearby park! The sun is bright, the air is clear and our paws are itching for a run!

There were poodles of all shapes, sizes and colors at the park today. We love poodles. They look like us and they are friendly like us. Golden Retrievers and other big dogs are also nice.

The worst dogs? The small dogs! Especially those with pomeranian blood running in them! One of those Chihuahua-pomeranian mix attacked Coffee today! That stupid dog, which was slightly bigger than Coffee, attacked Coffee when they were sniffing out each other. All that poor Coffee could do was defend himself. Luckily he was rescued before that maniac dog could inflict any damage on him. That stupid mutt went on to attack a few other dogs as well.


But today we all found out what a kind poodle Coffee is... you can call him kind, friendly or simply stupid... When all the other dogs refused to play with that dog anymore, Coffee went up to play with the maniac mutt, with his tail wagging!

And summer is finally here... it was so hot that I simply had no mood to walk. I wish we will have some ice water the next time we go to the park~

Oh well... I'm sleepy now after all that excitement today... *yawnz*... ZZZ...

A day in the life of ...

This is how a Sunday goes for a pair of poodles in Tung Chung...

We wake up early in the morning, ready to pounce on any unsuspecting humans. You got a blanket on you? No problem! Cookie will dig until your skin is exposed to the cold morning air! And I will lick your face until you look at me! Still not working? I'm sure the aroma of my chocolate cake will wake you up!

And then the humans will wipe whatever pee we failed to aim properly and feed us. Then after we had enough its time to play! I will chase Cookie all around the house, and she will chase me back! Basically we do that all the time as long as the humans are at home. Sometimes they must leave the house and they will tell us to go into the big cage. We are fine with that since we get to eat those delicious biscuits!

Then around tea time they will take out that beautiful pink bag. It's time to visit the park! Cookie and I will squeeze into the bag on our own~ We will wait patiently inside least they leave any of us behind! We won't want to miss the chance to go to the park!

Once out of the estate, we will be released from the bag and we poodles go wild! We will wear our leash and be on our way to the park. 2 dangerous traffic junctions later we will reach the park. This place is dog paradise! Dogs of all shapes and sizes run free here. It's one of very few parks in HK where dogs are allowed. There are Poms, Chow Chows, Westies, Goldens, Chihuahuas and fellow poodles! It's always fun there!

After an hour or so we will go back home where we will get our bath. I hate the bath!!! And then the scary hair-dryer treatment after the bath! Yikes!~ Cookie will usually take a nap after the shower while I will go around pestering the humans.

At night we have our dinner and laze around with the humans. Usually we sleep better after a trip to the park... *yawn*... yeah... *zzzz*...

The pollution in HK is terrible! I just realised that my left eye is red! It must be due to the pollutants in the air~ And can you tell that we have had our haircut over the weekend? See Cookie's new look below!

Hello everybody~ It's Coffee here again! Do you see the nice crop of fur on my head? YESH! And I'm glad that mummy will not shave it off again... unless...

And see our butts! We went to Inspiration Lake over at HK Disneyland over the weekend. A big and wonderful place, but I think they don't allow dogs... many of the staff and visitors were staring at us when we reached the visitor centre after the walk...

I don't understand HK. They don't allow us anywhere! Not even in private apartments! And they let humans smoke in housing apartments! The 2nd-hand smoke is harmful to other residents, and given the pigeon-hole apartments in HK, it is a torture for non-smokers to stay below, above or beside a smoker!

A dog's life~

My life sucks! Yesh I get to sleep in whole day long and I also get a nice female playmate while the humans go to work (and that is after that have fed me!). But do you know what these crazies that walk on 2 legs do to me?

First they chase me around the house with this robotic thing that sucks everything in its path! (I told you my life sucks...) Are they trying to shave me bald with that thing???



And then they don't let me eat until I've sat down and showed them my paws. What are they thinking?! I don't pick my food and put them into my mouth! I go mouth-to-food, snap, and they're gone!



P.S. that thing that looks like a turtle was not ME!

Hiya~ *woof*

Hi there~

I'm Coffee! I'm a boy~ I'm approximately 4-months-old tiny toy poodle. They say I'm a Japanese breed but I was born in Taiwan. And then they brought me to Hong Kong and I got sold to this strange looking guy who is from Singapore... Where is Singapore? Maybe this strange man will bring me there someday...

He brought me home last Sunday with another poodle, Cookie. She's a gal~~~ A cute pretty little gal, but quite nasty with her princess temperament at times...

Anyway I like this man. Strange as he is (keeps dancing in front of us!), he feeds us and picks up our poo. I cannot understand what he says but I don't think he understands us as well. That's fine with me since Cookie and I can coordinate our nibbling attacks on his toes without him knowing.

He's started a serious of measures to keep me within this 1.5m x 1m area. First he used foot-tall cushions as a barrier. I managed to jump over them. Cookie has some problems since she is smaller but she managed to find a hole in a corner to crawl out! Why the kennel did I spend so much effort to jump?! Then he realised its not working so he put me into the dogcage. Guess what? I managed to climb out from the top opening ala spiderdog! You got to see the stunned look on his face!

I've more or less figured out where to shit and pee when they let me out of the cage, but sometimes when it gotta go it gotta go~ And I get a round of beating from this lady. She's fine as long as I don't shit and pee around~

Okay I gotta go~ Cookie's biting my ears and these keyboards are too big for my paws~
