Coffee and Baby J

Coffee is a big fan of Baby J. He will sit down there all day while Baby J sleeps. Whenever he hears the cries of Baby coming out of the room he will rush in to take a look. He's much more gentle with Baby J than other kids or even Cookie~ Such a lovely dog~ 

As for Cookie... well... she loves Baby J but she's always in a world of her own~ we guess she loves the fact that she's still being treated like a princess~

Hello! It's been a while~

Hi there~ It's been a long time! We've been so busy playing that we haven't gotten the time to update our blog! Life's been pretty good since we get to sleep on the humans at night. And we have gotten a new toilet spot. See~ I'm sitting on my new toilet spot now!


The view from here is fantastic! We can see Gold Coast, the Airport, and even the Tai Lam bridge! Won't you join us the next time you feel like taking a leak? ;)

Attack of the maniac!

It's another Sunday and another trip to the nearby park! The sun is bright, the air is clear and our paws are itching for a run!

There were poodles of all shapes, sizes and colors at the park today. We love poodles. They look like us and they are friendly like us. Golden Retrievers and other big dogs are also nice.

The worst dogs? The small dogs! Especially those with pomeranian blood running in them! One of those Chihuahua-pomeranian mix attacked Coffee today! That stupid dog, which was slightly bigger than Coffee, attacked Coffee when they were sniffing out each other. All that poor Coffee could do was defend himself. Luckily he was rescued before that maniac dog could inflict any damage on him. That stupid mutt went on to attack a few other dogs as well.


But today we all found out what a kind poodle Coffee is... you can call him kind, friendly or simply stupid... When all the other dogs refused to play with that dog anymore, Coffee went up to play with the maniac mutt, with his tail wagging!

And summer is finally here... it was so hot that I simply had no mood to walk. I wish we will have some ice water the next time we go to the park~

Oh well... I'm sleepy now after all that excitement today... *yawnz*... ZZZ...

A day in the life of ...

This is how a Sunday goes for a pair of poodles in Tung Chung...

We wake up early in the morning, ready to pounce on any unsuspecting humans. You got a blanket on you? No problem! Cookie will dig until your skin is exposed to the cold morning air! And I will lick your face until you look at me! Still not working? I'm sure the aroma of my chocolate cake will wake you up!

And then the humans will wipe whatever pee we failed to aim properly and feed us. Then after we had enough its time to play! I will chase Cookie all around the house, and she will chase me back! Basically we do that all the time as long as the humans are at home. Sometimes they must leave the house and they will tell us to go into the big cage. We are fine with that since we get to eat those delicious biscuits!

Then around tea time they will take out that beautiful pink bag. It's time to visit the park! Cookie and I will squeeze into the bag on our own~ We will wait patiently inside least they leave any of us behind! We won't want to miss the chance to go to the park!

Once out of the estate, we will be released from the bag and we poodles go wild! We will wear our leash and be on our way to the park. 2 dangerous traffic junctions later we will reach the park. This place is dog paradise! Dogs of all shapes and sizes run free here. It's one of very few parks in HK where dogs are allowed. There are Poms, Chow Chows, Westies, Goldens, Chihuahuas and fellow poodles! It's always fun there!

After an hour or so we will go back home where we will get our bath. I hate the bath!!! And then the scary hair-dryer treatment after the bath! Yikes!~ Cookie will usually take a nap after the shower while I will go around pestering the humans.

At night we have our dinner and laze around with the humans. Usually we sleep better after a trip to the park... *yawn*... yeah... *zzzz*...

Stupid pollutants go away!

The pollution in HK is terrible! I just realised that my left eye is red! It must be due to the pollutants in the air~ And can you tell that we have had our haircut over the weekend? See Cookie's new look below!

Hello there~

Hello everybody~ It's Coffee here again! Do you see the nice crop of fur on my head? YESH! And I'm glad that mummy will not shave it off again... unless...

And see our butts! We went to Inspiration Lake over at HK Disneyland over the weekend. A big and wonderful place, but I think they don't allow dogs... many of the staff and visitors were staring at us when we reached the visitor centre after the walk...

I don't understand HK. They don't allow us anywhere! Not even in private apartments! And they let humans smoke in housing apartments! The 2nd-hand smoke is harmful to other residents, and given the pigeon-hole apartments in HK, it is a torture for non-smokers to stay below, above or beside a smoker!

New Clothes!

Hi all!

Today mummy took us to the beauty salon for our very first grooming session and we had at least 3 stylist fussing over the 2 of us for 3 whole hours. It was pretty scary actually....but we smelt great after that. :)

Anyway, mummy bought us some clothes and I think I look kind of cute in my new Burberry look-alike outfit. Coffee has a green and yellow sweater which was a little too big until mummy altered it for him. I think he looks handsome now that he is all clean up.

Hello~ I'm Cookie!

Hi! I guess Coffee has beat me to it at the introduction...

Well, I am Cookie and I am a girl, a very pretty girl~(my mummy says so and I think Coffee also thinks that I am kind of hot).

Anyway, I am a Japanese breed Tiny Toy Poodle born in Taiwan and I think I must be about 4 months old now. This baldy guy brought me to Hong Kong with a whole bunch of other poodles my kind, 6 of us in total and we were all locked up in a cage at his pet shop. The very 1st day we arrived at the shop, my mummy came in and asked to carry me in her hands. Boy was I scared! It was so high! I was trembling so hard I thought I was going to faint!

2 days later, my mummy came back and brought me home with Coffee. Boy was I glad to get out of that pet shop! The cage was getting kind of stinky. I wonder the man had chosen Coffee though...I thought his brother was cuter...dumb but cute. Anyway, Coffee has nice ears and I love biting them.

So far, we have been in this cosy home for 5 days and mummy has been treating us really well, feeding us and picking up our poo. The only problem is that they are not at home most of the day and I only have Coffee to play with me. I don't mind having him around but I sure hope his poo can be less stinky.

Mummy came home late last night and we really messed up in our cage. I think it was Coffee's fault! He couldn't keep his poo away from our sleeping towel! Mummy gave us a clean up after supper with this spray thingy that felt really cold on my body. I don't like it at all! But Coffee and I did smell much better after that. And I love it when mummy hugs me close in her arms. I can hear her heartbeat!

Ok, that's all from me today~ I gotta sleep now...zzzzz
